As a child, I had repeated the sky is falling or maybe the clouds are falling. That was how my mind told me fall was here as in fall and winter, the clouds form closer to the ground. It’s just how Mother Nature reminds all creation to be aware winter is around the corner. The first breaking of dawn is not greeted with the musical sounds of birds singing. They fly to a warmer location not just because of the cold but for food as they can’t find their food in the cold freezing weather. I don’t cry or worry about them for I know this is the time I will cherish their musical sounds through my memories. I will welcome them back home at the first glimpse of spring. For now, I will cherish the mystical musical sounds of fall.
Come hold my hands and let’s walk through the mystical sounds of fall.
I got my hot cup of coffee and walked my furry boys by the Hudson River, watching the green leaves turn orange. Soon we will hear the crunch of leaves under our footsteps. It’s a time I will keep extra eyes out for my boys as they love to eat everything under their paws. I hold on to their leashes as I see my younger furry boy Woof look at me with his big wide eyes asking, “What was that scary sound?” His older brother Moo bravely tries to find out where the sound is coming from.

The musical sounds of the birds are replaced with the whistling sounds of the wind. The sounds were trying to say something. In my mind, they were reading the pages of my Gothic books where you can fall in love with the meaning of true love. Where the dead are not feared but the living are. You can hold any one of my books and sit by the warm fire and enjoy traveling time. Maybe you will get to interact with the past inhabitants of the Civil War era in The Olive Tree Estate.
Or maybe you will travel through an ocean and land upon The Dead Queen’s Island. You will see how Lysandros Ealdwine finally gets to meet the dead queen who has been calling him for a thousand years, in my book Submerged Ever After.
I love driving through New York State as there are so many great places and stories to be told right here in my backyard.
I had to drive out to Montauk, Long Island as that’s where Dave and David live. That’s where they built their thirteen-story hospital, where the twelve ghosts also reside in the thirteenth-floor morgue in the MacNider Hospital, in my book The Haunting Of MacNider Hospital. No, I am not afraid of the dead but of the living who had placed these innocent souls in the morgue.
As I traveled back to my own place, I had to make two quick stops. I stoped over at another small house which sits in Sands Point, Long Island. The home had for a short period of time a young woman, a child bride, who grew up to be a very courageous woman and mother of two. She watches over the whole island as she says she was born with shattered wings, yet does not want another victim ever to follow her footsteps. You can read all about her paranormal journey through her diary called Shattered Wings: Diary Of A Child Bride.
I drove back home where I walked by the Hudson River, waiting for fall to turn into winter.
Then, I can welcome spring back into our lives. Yet in the meantime, I want to enjoy my fall walk as I get ready for a happy and Merry Christmas. I am excited to celebrate my first Christmas in New York.
As we all dive into the winter’s freezing temperatures possibly in February, why don’t you all take a trip to New Orleans, Louisiana to enjoy some beignets where you will get to experience a milder winter? Oh yes, don’t forget to take along with you my book, The Bride, The Groom, And The Ghost. Who says love is not real for here you will see the love of not only twin flames but also of a son. I must warn you that in Louisiana, they have alligators. In this novel, you will see a paranormal creature who will run after the bride. Yes, I do ask myself why is it these creatures don’t stop running after innocent people. Well, you will get to read another paranormal Gothic novel while you enjoy some coffee and beignets in downtown New Orleans.
You can celebrate your Christmas with me through my books.
I have not forgotten your children either. How could I as children are our future. So why don’t you check out my children’s book Enchanted Tales: A Kasteel Vrederic Storybook For Children. You can travel through the seven continents with your children and meet and greet some magical beings and have some adventures. I must say if you are new to my collection of books, then get yourselves introduced to my Kasteel Vrederic series as it’s the most amazing series of a blessed family and their adventures which created my world of novels as all my books are placed in this world. You all are probably familiar with my forever favorite character Dr. Jacobus Vrederic van Phillip, a noble Dutchman, whose hands I had taken first and started my novels from my dreamland, the Netherlands. This honorable man does reappear in a lot of my books, and as I held on to his hands, I became an author.
Now don’t let the spirits of fall place you in a gloomy place as you can pick up my prayer books from my collection of spiritual books.
You can breathe in all the positive vibes and let go of all negative vibes only by reciting my prayer songs.
My coffee has turned cold as I tend to walk around with my coffee a lot. I sip my coffee slowly so I can enjoy my brisk fall walk, and let my furry boys enjoy their walk through the fresh fallen leaves of fall. Today, I had a picnic in a park that also carries a lot of strange memories, yes linked to my upcoming release. Another paranormal adventure is waiting for all of you as my pen will be busy as soon as I feed my boys after I enter my home.
Enjoy your fall weather and remember it’s only here for a short visit. Soon, we will all bid our farewell to fall as we welcome winter. Until then, remember to open your windows and listen carefully to the crunches, to the chimneys being opened, and the musical winds moving through the trees, reminding all of us, it’s time for all of us to meet and greet, the mystical musical sounds of fall.
