My Southern historical, Gothic, paranormal, family saga, and literary romance fiction, The Olive Tree Estate, welcomes all of you within its world where we still feel the after effects of the American Civil War. The sins of the past are forgiven yet not forgotten as The Olive Tree Estate opens its door and welcomes the present inhabitants within the soul of the house. However, within the hidden temple of the house remain the past inhabitants still fighting a horrific war.
This fictional book explores the forgotten past, the lost lovers, injustice, family separation, and bi-racial love stories all incorporated into the historical Civil War era.
The house sacredly has stored within its walls memorable history, romance, and suspense as its door becomes a paranormal vortex and allows all to time travel.
Yes, the Civil War is the backdrop of this book, yet the stories are the reason the house still exists. The house makes sure no one forgets a very important part of the American history.
Remember and keep safe within your memories all parts of history even through a historical fiction. Remember even to this day, the Civil War is considered the most brutal war within the United States. Newly released estimated loss of life exceeds 1.5 million. The number of fatalities exceeded World War I, World War II, and the Vietnam War combined. The Civil War was a brutal and painful conflict as it was an emotional tragedy about finding justice and honor for human dignity.
Within the pages of my book, I have brought back to life four romantic pairs who must fight to not only unite with their beloved, but also figure out how to complete their love story from the past to the present as they cross time through the vortex of a paranormal door.
Through my paranormal Southern Gothic novel, you will enter a war-torn country and travel time from the past to the present day as the vortex has opened now eternally through The Olive Tree Estate.
The Civil War is the backdrop but this book is about four different love stories that were being written through the most dreadful time in history. It’s about the house that still stands even though its inhabitants have moved on through time. It’s about one family’s determination to unite with one another even through the door of time.
Why was the Civil War the backdrop?
The Civil War taught us humanity was not completely lost as people like my character Olivier Eldritch fought to awaken humanity. During the Civil War, humans were forced to work without pay, dignity, and freedom. It was considered a national sin. Yet here I ask all of you, do you like to remember the past and learn from the mistakes? Or do you erase the mistakes of the past by denying the truth that did happen? Do you then make people repeat the deadly sin again and cause another war? I want to be there with the people who teach peace and love, not war. I want to remember what, why, and when we the humans had lost our humanity, so I can be with you and together we can say never again will any injustice rule humanity.
I want all of you to never forget what happened and learn from history. Let’s not erase the pages of history to only justify the wrong. Let’s remember the shameful actions of the past and remember there were people fighting for justice even then, as these people brought peace and justice to the homes across the United States. They refused to see the division of race, color, or religion but saw humans as one family.
Come walk with me through my fictional world within The Olive Tree Estate, where the inhabitants of the past and the present unite for a better future.
Miracles happen through the pen and paper, where we the present can now walk back and witness one family’s fight to erase the division and understand the unjust brutalities of war.
Let’s walk with them through the past and only then shall we realize how humanity was awakened during this brutal war. It’s for that reason we know this kind of brutality will never ever happen again. Yet the political unrest is an issue we need to be concerned about, and be understanding as a simple unrest can repeat the dreadful past all over again.
Through loss, strength is found. Resilience grows as a person develops his courage to overcome all the challenges of life.
Fire burned across the United States through division, racism, and hatred as the Civil War broke out from this ignition. Within the burning fire and the lowest historic point of American history, took birth four different love stories. All four couples tried to protest the barbaric, inhumane, and ruthless war against humanity. Love stories taking birth from within a war-torn country only seek peace and justice. These stories will touch your inner soul and awaken another person who shall join the forces of peace and justice for all.
Come hold my hands and journey back in time where everything was hidden, even true love. Olivier Eldritch will take you back in time as he opened the door to his newly purchased Civil War era plantation home he calls, The Olive Tree Estate.
This is a novel where we learn to rebuild after a loss, not give up. In real life, we at times don’t get enough time to complete the unfinished tasks, yet within the pages of a paranormal Gothic book we all have another chance at life.
This story also awakens emotional and physical resilience and courage like metals do when subjected to extreme heat and fire.
Wartime atrocities committed during the Civil War were forgiven by the descendants of the victims, but not forgotten.
Erasing the historical events from texts won’t erase the pain and sufferings that had taken place. History could never be erased as it already has taken place. Acknowledging the historical events will ease the burden and prevent another deadly war within any country from happening ever again!
Read The Olive Tree Estate, a paranormal gothic novel, and remember like Olivier Eldritch and Olivia, the past inhabitants are reborn over and over again to retell their side of the history.
A paranormal compulsion leads Olivier Eldritch to the infamously haunted and abandoned Olive Tree Estate, an American Civil War–era plantation. When his family opens the door of the estate, the house reveals a secret vortex to 1864, where they encounter their own past selves still walking through the halls.
Within this vortex, Olivier meets Olivia, a powerful woman whose insight guides his family through the estate’s hidden secrets. Entrapped by outside forces, Olivier is thrust into roles and relationships shaped by the era’s turmoil.
Across generations, four different timeless love stories were not taking birth, but were being erased by the divisions of the Civil War in Nashville, Tennessee. As the Eldritch family confronts the estate’s buried histories, they must decipher if the house is a treasure chest of memories or a penitentiary for all her inhabitants, the past and the present.
Welcome to The Olive Tree Estate where the past and present inhabitants have all been eagerly waiting for you.
A house that has been waiting for years to connect the past and the present became the vortex! The house has kept all the memories of the past secretly within its walls to release all the memories to Olivier Eldritch and his family when the time is right. The Olive Tree Estate is not only the name of a house but it’s a place where the past is preserved.
Here I ask you to find out if the house is haunted. Or are the memories of the inhabitants the paranormal force that haunts? I also let you see a glimpse of some proof the past inhabitants left behind engraved on a cottage that prove historical division had divided true lovers who must fight time and tide to get over their fate. The engraving is like a ribbon tying the past inhabitants to the present through a touch. Historical events are remembered through the powerful political and historical figures. Yet forgotten are the intimate stories of the man on the streets.
Now through the pages of The Olive Tree Estate, witness some private individual life stories which were affected and erased by the American Civil War yet want all to remember them through the paranormal doors of The Olive Tree Estate!
Although all my books are always closed-door romance and happily ever after (rarely bittersweet endings), a reminder I must give all of you is some trigger warnings about mature themes, sensitive content, and emotional situations for humanitarian, antiracism, and unity purposes. These include but are not limited to real-life historical events such as the American Civil War and Black history, plantation life, Black and White interracial relationships, atrocities committed to adults and children during and after the war including human breeding farms, and on-page character deaths.
It’s a sad day when we must walk through the memory lane with a trigger warning sign in our hands. Let’s make a promise and be there for all humans as one family and never allow these brutalities to ever happen again.
A magical book is upon your hands where the characters walk through the paranormal doors and enjoy a happily ever after.
I always wonder about the humans who shed tears and placed hands on their mouths to keep the painful sounds and tears from coming out. Their quiet tears and silent painful screams reached my soul. So I have with words of wisdom quilted for all of you my paranormal Southern Gothic novel I call The Olive Tree Estate.
The past might be painful, brutal, and catastrophically terrifying. Let’s all say in union “Never again.” We can only say this when we walk through the past.
So, I welcome all of you to enter The Olive Tree Estate where you the present can walk back into the past by holding on to Olivier Eldritch and his family.
Happy reading.
